So after a lot of hoopla and phone calls back and forth, we have today off. And I have a feeling that part of the reason we do is that Nike is closed for the first time in history today.

We like to do a lot of things just because Nike does them.

We just walked to Safeway, got groceries, and came back.

There is a half inch of ice covering everything.

I slipped and fell on the sidewalk on Cornell.

I now have a cut thumb and a cut heel. Of my hand, not my foot. It's not that bad, but it stung.

But now we have eggs! And nobody fell on the way back so our eggs are still intact!
