(no subject)

Today I found out that I'm going to be averaging 24 or 25 hours a week. At minimum wage, this really isn't going to work for much longer, if I want to go to school. And it's summer, so there aren't going to be any jobs for awhile. Ugh.

oh no :-(
That's frustrating! Maybe you can pick up some odd jobs on the side? Babysitting? Random tasks? at least until something better comes along...
What is minimum wage these days, anyway?

I'm trying to think of something I could do that would get me some extra money, but nothing has come to mind yet. Of course, I only found this out a couple of hours ago, and I haven't looked for anything. :) Minimum wage is $7.05. Ouch.

Well, at least it's not $6.50- which is what it was the last time I was making minimum wage!
Oregon actually has a decently high minimum so heck, at least you don't live in Mississippi (though there are other reasons to be thankful for that too!).

Perhaps a little craft stand at the farmer's market?

I thought about a stand at the farmer's market. I'll have to see if they allow crafts, or if they're like Albany, which only allows food and plants.
