Brr, it's cold out!

This morning I had my first gingerbread latte of the season. And it wasn't wonderful. :( I think I'm so used to cappuccinos now that having something that sweet kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm sitting in the Business Building waiting for my Access class to start. I still have half an hour so I'm sitting in the hall even though it sounds like there are people chatting in the room. I saw my old coworker Courtney on her way to buy the book for the class - I think she has the same class as me again. I was thinking of asking her why I haven't seen her in Accounting, but I don't really care so I won't. :D

My first packages from http://www.silverjewelryclub came last night! They are smaller than they look online, of course, but they're still very pretty and look well-made. Like I really know, being a silversmithing expert and all. Heh. But I wanted to get a few first so I could see whether to buy more for the rest of my coworkers. I think $6 or $7 is a good price to pay for coworkers, especially when it looks like I paid more!

Tonight the Halloween decorations come down and I don't have to decorate again until next Halloween. I'm kind of going to miss putting a Christmas tree up this year but that's OK - I'll make up for it with our Victoria trip.

It's November already! I love this time of year!

So you're going to Victoria for Christmas? Fill us in on your holiday plans!

Yeah, we're going to Victoria! We're going to drive to Port Angeles on the 23rd and take the ferry over from there, and stay at the Red Lion I think. Because it's off-season it's pretty cheap! We're going to the Butchart Gardens on Christmas Eve and maybe Craigdarroch Castle and we'll see the Christmas ships in the harbor.

Just the two of you? No family Christmas this year?

Yep, just the two of us. We figure we won't be able to have too many more just-the-two-of-us Christmases since there will be babies in the picture in a couple of years, so we're going to take advantage of it! Plus it's been a while since we've gone on vacation because of school, so it'll be a welcome break.

They were one of my favourite things about being in America during December, maybe you added sugar by accident.
You need to re-educate your tastebuds pronto!

I'm just not used to all that sugar all at once! You know what I think was a bigger part of it, though, was that it wasn't hot. I bought it and then drove to work without having any, so it was just really warm.

I agree, temperature can really change how much sugar you can withstand. Like drinking lukewarm coke - disgusting!
