I took the gel foam off my thumb last night. It took me almost an hour. I was so tired of it, though, that it was worth it. It's very pink and weird-looking underneath. You can see all the layers I cut through, and the very bottom is almost red and looks like there's not much keeping it from bleeding, although it's not as sensitive as I thought it would be. I wish I had a digital camera so I could show it to everybody... I wanted my family to see it.

The kitty is walking all over the desk. She likes to try to catch the cursor on the screen. But she got tired of that once I stopped moving it and started typing. She's the cutest.

Seven days until the big 2 - 1!
I seem to have some sort of aging complex. I'm scared of getting older. I can't believe I've already got it. I'm afraid of getting wrinkled, I'm afraid of having to settle down, I'm afraid of sparks going out of my relationship, I'm afraid of being the typical plane-jane-mom-who-needs-a-makeover-desperately, I'm afraid of losing the innocence that I (appear to) have... sigh...

The Chieftains were AMAZING! I loved the concert. It was great.

Tonight Mike and I had dinner and then he took me home. For some odd reason, we hardly ever spend the night with each other. I don't know why. I do know that he likes to have time alone, but he is only going to be in this apartment for two more days and then he has to live with his parents so of course we can't spend the night together. It's not like I have any ulterior motives by sleeping with (as in next to) him, I just like sleeping with (as in next to) him. It's nice.
