YAY!!!

As upset at myself as I was the other day when I couldn't make it to that interview, I feel completely opposite today. This morning I was awakened by a phone call from the temp agency asking me if I wanted to start a $9/hour job tomorrow. So I got up and ran over there to fill out a W4, and then ran to the studio apartment I was looking at the other day to give the guy my application. He looked at my driver's license and mentioned how my hair looked different and I talked to him about how I've been several different colors lately and that what I've got now is closer to my natural color, and he told me I was very attractive. I think that anywhere else I'd be creeped out, but I was in too much of a good mood to care. So anyway, I'll know tomorrow whether my background check came out OK, and I can move in tomorrow if it did.

In other news, my AIM friend Jason just contacted me after disappearing for several months. He's cool.

Speaking of cool, that's what it is today. It rained (well, sprinkled) for the first time since I've been back, and now it's kind of windy on and off, and smells like fall. There's a smelly flowering tree outside the window which is blooming, though, and it's mixing up my "Yay! It's almost fall!" feelings. I am SO EXCITED for Halloween and Thanksgiving and Christmas... fall and winter... decorating my OWN APARTMENT... Yay!!!!
