When I was in third grade, my class started a new math class approach. I can't remember what it was, but I do remember that we had math notebooks to keep our assignments in, and I remember walking around with the notebook under my arm feeling so grown-up and important...

Today, I got paged and several people called me with work-related questions. I've never been in a job before where I was personally needed to answer questions (there have always been other people around who could answer them just as easily as me)... I had lots of things to do... and I felt just as important as I did in third grade. :)
