Tonight I left early because... well, my supervisors were gone, and so was pretty much everybody else. It was only half an hour early though, and I had nothing to do.
When I was waiting on the corner of Burnside and NW 21st, a truck ran a barely red light and turned left onto Burnside, neglecting to see the police car that was waiting to go the other way on Burnside. It turned on its lights immediately and turned on its siren for a sec... reminded me of seeing someone do something bad when I was younger and saying "oooh!" Silly truck.
Vladimir, and all of his accessories, was sold tonight for the sum of thirty dollars to a shy man from the Columbia Sportswear distribution center. Vlad was extremely (and surprisingly) well-behaved during the visit, sitting on the man's lap quietly instead of running around like a crazy thing (which is what happened before the man got here, while I was cleaning Vlad's cage). I was sorry to see him go, but it was good at the same time.
I shall now make sure I have everything, and go to Taco Bell for dinner, and see if there's a bus that'll take me to the Amtrak station. Ooh, I need to find my reservation number!
