Cory came home from work at almost 7 this morning. I kept waking up without him, wondering where he was. The last time I did it was 4:30am or so, and I thought I hadn't fallen asleep until he got home, but I guess I did. He was so tired. I felt so bad for him, but I was half asleep so I just put my head on his shoulder and listened to him fall asleep.

The good thing about how long he stayed is that he's almost completely finished with the work that needs to be done. We have to go to Kinkos this afternoon on the way up to Portland so he can print some things out, and then he can rest. (Except for when we get to Salem, where I have to play the piano at my aunt and uncle's house [they got a new baby grand], and when we get up to Portland, where my grandma [Dad's mom] wants to meet Cory.)

I am so excited for this next weekend. We don't have to go to work at all, we can lay in bed and talk all morning, and goof around all afternoon... no work...

I do appreciate that he can work like that. I sometimes think about Mike (who is doing absolutely horrible right now - he quit his job and stuff), and how much better Cory is than Mike was. Cory isn't a workaholic, but he knows when he needs to buckle down, and he knows how to get it done, and I admire that so much. I'm so glad we found each other...
