(no subject)

Why do some LJers add their "signature" to the end of their posts/comments? Like you don't know who they are so you have to look for the signature, even though there's a big picture right there next to what they'd written, showing them either flipping off the camera or looking pensively into the distance... I know who you are, thanks, you don't have to type in your pseudonym to make sure I remember.
