(no subject)

There are smog alerts for today, tomorrow, and Friday. We're supposed to be breaking record high temperatures for the next couple of days. We live on the third floor of our apartment building.

Does anybody have any good ideas as to how to keep it cooler inside than it is outside? I've heard lots of things, from shutting the windows when it starts to get warm out, to putting blankets over the windows... I don't want Cory and Remmy and Trout to sizzle for so long!
