Jun. 4th, 2004 09:17 amI woke myself up at 3:45 this morning, coughing. Again. I only laid there for a couple of minutes before I went to get the expectorant - the cough wasn't productive at all, and was hurting my throat.
20 minutes later I was still coughing and wheezing and could barely breathe, and I woke Cory up. I sat cross-legged on the bed and concentrated on breathing regularly, even though it was really difficult with the wheezing and the coughing and the not being able to fill my lungs.
45 minutes later I finally fell back asleep.
I'm SO TIRED of being sick. I've been sick for an entire month now. Cory says his coworker thinks we have pneumonia. My coworker thinks our carpeting is making us sick. I think it might have been the stress of moving coupled with allergies. But whatever it is, I'm all done with it now, thank you.
The worst part about it is that Cory's afraid we'll pass our sicknesses back and forth if we kiss, so I haven't kissed him in a couple of weeks. I tried to last night, but he pulled his shirt up over his mouth and said "be careful!!" All I want to do is be able to kiss my husband. And breathe through my nose. And not wheeze.
