But first... what I did today.
Got up. Threw clothes on (and a hat so I didn't have to do my hair) and went to Starbucks. Criss-crossed town running errands with Cory - took his Birkenstocks in to be re-soled, got an ISB hub, looked at laptops, la la la. Some other stuff in there too.
Came home, Cory started doing homework so I sat on the couch with Remmy and watched cooking shows, which made me want to cook something nice for dinner. Looked through all my Cooking Light magazines for a good recipe. Went to Bed, Bath & Beyond to get a broiler pan 'cause I didn't have one. Went to Fred Meyer and got ingredients for Rosemary Merlot Flank Steak and Garlic-roasted New Potatoes and Chocolate Pudding Cake. Came home and cooked. Opened a window to let some smoke out - that was the first time I'd used the broiler since I moved here.
Took off hat to reveal severe hat-hair, exacerbated by the fact that I hadn't done it this morning. Set out a table in the middle of the messy living room, used an actual tablecloth and placemats, served dinner and ate it. Yum. Put the Chocolate Pudding cake in the oven and settled down to watch Shaun of the Dead. Laughed a lot. It's a good movie. Served Chocolate Pudding Cake and ate it. Yum. Finished watching movie, ate a little more Chocolate Pudding cake. Yum. Read LJ. Wrote in LJ. Nighty night.
