Jan. 18th, 2005 08:27 amI got up this morning because about three seconds before my alarm went off, there was a loud bang somewhere either in the bedroom or outside against the wall. It startled me, and that was the end of sleeping.
I went on a wild hunt for sheets that had me going to Fred Meyer twice in as many hours. I didn't take into account the fact that pillowtop mattresses need extra deep sheets. (And if anyone reading this has a good cheap place to get extra deep sheets, let me know.) So I got deep ones and they stayed on but they're not quite deep enough. Someone told me to just get elastic and sew pieces onto the corners so that they can stay under the mattress - I'll probably just do that. It's cheaper than buying more sheets right now, anyway.
Yesterday we made snow globes in crafts. They turned out really crappy. I felt bad. Oh well.
Today it's supposed to get up to over 60 degrees. What the hell is up with that? This is January! It's supposed to be cold and rainy. Oh well, it'll make for a nice drive for the seniors this afternoon. We're driving to Alsea today, if I can remember how.
I painted clear strengthening polish on my nails. They look really good - I don't really like color but I like them to look like I care about them. And I beat up my nails so much that color doesn't wear well on them.
I really have nothing to say, just tidbits of boring crap. :D
