So we finally broke down and got cable. I kind of got tired of standing in the middle of the room holding the antenna while Cory and I strained to hear what was going on during 24 with white noise covering it all up. And now I can put the TV wherever I want and not have to worry about reception! Except it's where I want it already. So anyway, the cable guy came and installed it and forgot to ask me for payment, but I gave it to him anyway. He said "Oh, shoot I forgot all about that! Thanks!" I'm so nice.

Then Remmy and I walked to Fred Meyer. It's a ways away, and it took an hour round-trip, I think. It was really really nice out, too. And there were lots of college girls in little camisoles and thongs (on their feet) and skirts. That's one way to tell that it's almost springtime! (Another way to tell is if the geese are flying north - I saw my first northbound flock yesterday morning.)

We're thinking about driving down to Yachats tomorrow night and watching Dad play in a band at a bar. Cory might be too tired though. And I have to figure out what to do with the dog while we're there - it'd be good to go and let her run around on the beach, and we can watch the sun go down, but we don't want to leave her in the car for hours while we listen to Dad. I guess I'd better ask him how long his set is.

It's such a pretty day. I can't waste it sitting on the computer (I say after having played Hordes of the Underdark for three hours straight)! Off to take Remmy out to the park, and then it's time to start dinner (already)!

EDIT: So, I was out with Remmy at the park and saw two huge flocks of geese flying south. So I guess the whole geese thing doesn't work. :D
