(no subject)

Well this day has gone by quickly so far.

Got up, took the dog out, ate yogurt, and watched an interesting Discovery Channel show about separating conjoined twins. Then rini came over and we went to Evergreen, where we ate too much. I had some turnip for the first time. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I had some unfounded notion that it was going to be bad.

Then we walked around a bit. We looked at the big old house that still doesn't have any renters. That must say something about the house! We also went to Inkwell, where I found a candle that smelled really good. I almost bought it, but then I saw the price tag. Yikes.

After we stopped at Safeway, we came back here and made a lemon souffle that didn't really puff up at all. In fact it kind of got flatter than it was when I put it in the oven. Heh. That's what you get for using a springform pan, I think. Plus, it was done with 8 minutes to spare, which is kind of weird. I'm going to have to get an oven thermometer.

And now Erin's gone. I could go downtown and get stamps. I should.
