Apr. 17th, 2005 02:18 pmI left Cory for about two hours to go to Independence to have lunch with Stacey and Garth and Grandma. We went to an old-fashioned-style soda fountain (I just spelled it phountain) and had hamburgers and joked around and looked at the kitschy stuff in the gift shop part. Garth was just back in Australia visiting his family and he brought me back some Turkish Delight. That was nice of him.
It rained really really hard on me on the way to Monmouth. If you've ever tried to pass a semi in the rain in the middle of the night and you get to where their front tires are spitting up rain on your windshield so you can't see anything... yeah, that's how bad it was but it was just rain. And some hail mixed in. It was neat. It rained on the way back too but not so hard. Luckily it wasn't raining at all when we were walking outside, and now that I'm home it's all sunny again. Spring in Oregon is fun.
I felt the need to clean so I started moving some things around and getting the vacuum out. I have a feeling Cory won't like me vacuuming around him, but I feel the need to have less dirty surroundings. (I want to move into a nicer place is what I want! But you can't beat $475 a month, unfortunately.)
And off I go.
