(no subject)

Yesterday I got up early and drove to Salem to visit my aunt. One of my biggest reasons for going was to go by Binyons and find some prescription sunglasses. But once I picked out what I wanted, I found out that I had to have the physical prescription, not just a dictation. And of course I left the prescription at home. Damn it.

We also looked around Target and JoAnn Fabrics and met Grandma for some Indian buffet before we headed for home. And then we grabbed a saw Grandma needed and ran over to her house, where I cut two big branches off of a dead tree she has in her yard. It was really hot outside and I got covered in sawdust and pieces of pine needles.

Next my aunt and uncle and grandma and I went to McMinnville to Alf's, which is a weird little diner-y place that sells burgers and milkshakes and has a monkey in a cage. He had on little denim shorts.

And then I came home and looked for apartments, as evidenced by my frustrated post last night. There is no place advertised in the newspaper that takes dogs, is under $650/month, and is where we want to live. Sometimes I hate living in a college town.

Today I help Cory write his paper and then maybe we'll get to play for a bit. I don't know where though.
