For the last two or three days someone has waited until it gets dark outside to run some kind of machine that makes a high-pitched whine for 5 seconds and then stops for 3. I think it's one of those floor buffer things but I'm not sure.

You can tell the college kids are back. Today when Cory was riding the bus to work, the driver had to slam on his brakes because a girl walked out in front of it.
