Oct. 7th, 2005 07:34 amYesterday I was very much looking forward to a long, quiet evening at home where I could crochet and sit on the couch and not be frustrated or go anywhere, and then of course I realized I had yoga. So I whined about it for about 30 seconds and then I went. And as soon as I sat down to meditate at the beginning (though I don't meditate, I just sit and relax and start paying attention to myself) I was really glad it was yoga night.
And then this morning I dragged myself out of bed and went for a run. I didn't go nearly as far as I wanted to, as my lungs are still not quite at their full capacity (I'm still coughing up a bit of junk now and then) and I hadn't gone for a week. I also forgot my watch. But I'd mapped out a route and I just cut it a bit short. I ended up going about 2.5 miles, and walked part of the way.
It's a gorgeous morning again. I love this weather so very very much. It actually makes me smile while I'm walking down the street. :D
I think I may audition for a musical this spring or summer. My choices are Jesus Christ Superstar (though I think there's really only one female role in that) and Passions by Sondheim/La Pine (same duo as Into the Woods, which I was in and liked quite a bit).
Today I must look for some sheets for the bed again. Last night as we were making up the bed so we could get in, Cory noticed a tear. I just bought those sheets too! I also need those elastic things you attach to the corners of the sheets so they'll fit on a huge mattress.
