I love rainy weekends. They're so cozy.

I'm putting the finishing touches on my cowl pattern today. Yesterday I had my aunt take pictures of it, which I'm not allowed to share until the pattern comes out, so you'll all have to wait. Nyah.

I'm trying to decide whether to put my LJ addy in my contact info at the end of the pattern. Really, I'm trying to decide if I'm that interesting (or post enough) that people would want to visit here. Hmm hmm hmm.

Trout is sitting on Cory's lap, staring up at him with her eyes half closed. She loves him so. She never sits on my lap anymore; she climbs up on Cory as soon as he sits down anywhere. It's cute.

OK, one last decision to make for the pattern. Which picture should I use in my bio?

All done! Ah, I love finishing a project. And now off to work on another project!

As I was finishing making pancakes for dinner, Cory washed the dishes... and then the sink plugged up. The disposal seems to be working, but the water evens itself out between the two sinks, which makes us think it's the drain. We undid the elbow and let the water out, but as we were down there we realized that there are holes in the pipes that have been covered with electrical tape. And now one of them is leaking, so I called and left a message for the landlord. (Of course there's no after-hours maintenance number.)

And then I spent an hour looking up apartments for rent. We still aren't on a lease for this place since last year's ran out at the end of August. I wouldn't feel bad leaving. So I have about 15 places to call tomorrow and see what I can find. It may work out pretty well... but it may not. So I'm not crossing my fingers (partly because it's going to suck to move in November).
