Nov. 11th, 2005 05:11 pmOK kids, I have a favor to ask.
First, get your head in the right spot. Think about Donna Reed and June Cleaver in the 1950s - high heeled pumps, red lipstick, perfect hair, frilly apron, cooking a roast for her clean-cut husband who'll be home from the office at any moment.
What songs would you be listening to? Elvis and the Beatles are out, because you're pure and gentle and wouldn't listen to people who move their hips like that. Or make little preteen girls scream and cry.
I've already got some Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman songs, but I need a couple of hours worth of good old 1950s goody-two-shoes housewife music. Help please!
