(no subject)

Yesterday was a long day. We had several people either come in late or not come in at all because of the Highway 34 closure. Right after it goes over the Willamette it slopes way down, and it gets a little flooded every year but it hasn't flooded this badly since 1996. It's closed indefinitely right now, and of course they expect more rain (though I heard this might be because cities upstream have to let some water out of their dam(s) for flood control.)

Then Cory had his night class and I had yoga.

The Sundance Film Festival is going on now - check out Clear Cut: the Story of Philomath - it's about where I live! How fun is that?

Time to get my jeans out of the dryer.

Oh yeah: work may agree to pay for classes so I can get an Accounting Clerk certificate! I should be finding out about it soon.
