(no subject)

This morning a guy from the planer came in with a mangled hand. It got stuck between a chain and a sprocket, and was really badly smashed. Badly enough that they sent him to Emanuel Hospital in Portland for surgery. That was a nice start to everybody's day.

I had an interview this morning. The girl was nice - we'll probably hire her.

I also had a chat with Patti and the HR guy and the mill manager and we decided we needed to get rid of Dawn. So that's going to happen tomorrow. Hopefully it will happen when I'm on lunch because I don't want to be there when it happens.

Busy busy day, not so busy night. I like that. :) Dinner was butternut squash and bacon pasta.

And now to bed.
