Mar. 26th, 2006 03:14 pmI remember when I finally became decent at following crochet patterns. I'd go to the store, see a cute crocheted or knitted thing, and think "yikes, I'm not going to BUY that when I could MAKE it just as easily!"
Well, I just went to my LYS (the only place in town that had the pattern books I was interested in) and looked through Candy Babies and Candy Tots. Most of the patterns were eh, and the only things I liked I could design myself. Yikes. Now I'm going to be going around thinking "I'm not going to buy that when I could design it just as easily!"
