The search for a new place to live has hit a milestone - we drove by a duplex today that we really really like. It has a huge backyard and the neighborhood is quiet (as far as voices and music, that is - it's a somewhat busy street) and the inside looks nice, as far as we can tell. I called and left a message for the landlords and hopefully something will happen!

It's hot today. I'm doing homework inside because it's cooler in here. But I am tempted to move the folding table and chair outside onto the porch so Remmy can go out there and eat her bone in the shade.
