Finally, I got around to actually finishing a crochet project. My coworker decided to quit after working at the same place for 12 years, to become a hospice nurse. I told her I'd make her something, and she decided she wanted a lime green bag. She chose the pattern and I used some of the leftover yarn from Inga the Inchworm.

The color is pretty true in this pic, at least on my monitor. I like the shape OK, but I don't like how rounded the ribbon is - I would have liked it if the curve wasn't so sharp. But that's OK.

The lining looks nice in this picture, but the stitches and my skin don't. I don't pretend to be a talented photographer. :)

A little detail I added to the bow at the last minute because I didn't want to go rooting through the front bedroom to find the white thread to sew the bow to the bag. You can also see the monster snap that I used. I wish JoAnn's had those magnetic clasps - those would have been much nicer-looking.

And now I only have to sew a few notions to the felted bag and it'll also be finished. The zipper is daunting though - I've never sewn a zipper before.
