(no subject)

We just spent three hours looking for a place to live. We had tons of possibilities, but nothing seemed to pan out. Now that we have no dog there are more opportunities for us but we also have our own requirements (or at least ideas about what would make our lives easier) and apparently there aren't any apartments in town that have exactly what we want - or if they do they either don't allow pets or are too expensive. We did find a complex that we liked quite a bit, but there aren't even washer and dryer hookups in the place, which means we'd have to go back to coin-op laundry and I'm not sure I'm prepared to do that.

So we're home again, and I'm trying to see if I can find any other apartments that might work but that we missed on our first pass through the newspaper and internet sites.
