I am bracing myself for the heat wave that technically started yesterday. 104 today, 102 tomorrow, 90s the rest of the forecast. I've never been good with heat and I'm really not looking forward to the house not cooling down at night.

Tomorrow is my friend's wedding shower. I AM looking forward to that.

And last but not least: the townhouse people called tonight and said they ended up pushing our application through "without reference" since they couldn't get a hold of my landlords, and we're free and clear and ready to rent from them! I'm taking a deposit over today.

I'm the last one in the office. I want to go home. But I'm supposed to wait for my boss to take me home so her kids can watch the snake eat a mouse. She said she had to be home at 5 so someone could come buy her car, and then she'd come pick me up. I think I'll call Cory and see if he can do it instead. As much as I like being in the AC, I'd rather be home than sitting here all alone avoiding homework.
