Cory's gone to bed already, but I'm still up finishing the baking of the bierocks, which we'll have for lunch or dinner tomorrow. I found the recipe in Cooking Light a few years ago and hadn't tried it until now. I had to test one a minute ago - they're pretty good, though I probably would have seasoned them more than the recipe called for (like, anything more than a teensy bit of salt and pepper). But with a little mustard they're pretty decent.

Tomorrow is an early day. Cory has to be at work at 7 and I'm not sure where I'll end up after I drop him off - the coffee shop or work, probably. I've got another pattern lined up for the next issue of CrochetMe, and it'll be pretty easy to finish up (nothing technical, mostly just graphs), so maybe I'll write a bit, or see how many different colors of kitchen cotton I can rustle up. (Wait, I can't do that because the craft store doesn't open until after I have to be at work. Guess that'll have to wait until lunch.)

Tomorrow is also a late day - I have choir until 9:30. Belshazzar's Feast is starting to grow on me, though I'm still half horrified and half amused at singing about dashing babies against rocks. It's a pretty difficult piece, with lots of very strange chords, which makes me excited to hear the finished product with the Corvallis Symphony.

Wanna hear something stupid? I just burned my knee on the edge of the oven door while taking the bierocks out. Whee.
