Potato Salad Recipe?

I've never made potato salad before. (I know, shocking!) I need to make some tomorrow night though, for a work BBQ on Friday. Does anyone have any tried-and-true recipes that they'd like to share? I'll be checking around online as well but sometimes the best recipes are ones you don't find that often on the internet.

1. I just got an invitation from my cousins for their dog's second birthday party. (Second birthday, not second party.) It's super fancy, with an RSVP card, vellum, and even a "the dog is registered at Petco" card. Cracked me right up (which was the point).
