Made it!

Today I rode my bike to work! I left home at 7 and got here at 8 - perfect timing. My hair looks kind of freakish but that's OK. It's supposed to be a little messy anyway. One of my coworkers said "it took you an hour to get here? That means you rode like 8 miles an hour. People can run faster than that." But whatevs. I'm proud of myself, because *I* couldn't run 8 miles in an hour. But I can bike it. And it's not bad for a first try.

The real test I think will be tomorrow, though. Hopefully I won't be so sore that I don't feel like I can do it again. We shall see.

I must talk quietly. Several times today I've said something and nobody in the room has responded to me. It's rather frustrating.
