Phyllis was miffed that I didn't make new visitor tags last night when I was here so late. She said she muttered the whole time she made them this morning. Hahaha (lazy ass).

Today is Friday. Today I get bubble tea at lunchtime with Cory and bring some back so Lisa and Julie (who think it sounds disgusting) can try some. Tonight I clean the house for visitors tomorrow. I need a new toothbrush so I can use the old one for the bathroom sink.

Today I will also call the State Park Service and ask about where I could have 88 people for a wedding. I might end up doing it in July anyway, whether or not Rach is burnt out from her cousin's wedding. I figure everybody else will help out more than her anyway.

The day's going by pretty quickly. I finally got a chance to go up and see Nena (in the PR department) and she said she's going to try to push for me to get a cubicle next to hers, and to get me into their database so I can help them out more. That's exciting. Maybe they'll hire me and I'll get more money! Yay! But Lisa loves me (apparently) so I hope that doesn't make me feel bad if I decide to leave.

Bubble tea and deli sandwiches for lunch. It's sitting here on the desk and I'm trying not to look at it because I have to save some for my coworker to taste. It's difficult to keep from touching it. :)

Called the State parks people. The lady was very helpful. She gave me a nice list of parks that Cory and I will visit probably next weekend. Very cheap too - $35 for the first fifty people and $.80 a head thereafter. Yay! I hafta wait until October to reserve it, though. Or maybe November because we might have it in August instead, just in case it rains in June. I have to talk that over with Cory. I hate moving it around so much. Eh... at least it's happening. I feel lots better now that I've got a good lead.

I just found out that they're installing the PR database onto an extra computer for me - in the old PR manager's office. That means that until someone needs that office, I get an office with a window! HAHAHA! Glee!

UPDATE: So, as soon as I finished getting my panties in a wad and writing this, the phone rang and the PR lady told me that I just get the cube across from that office, they decided. Dang. It was too good to be true. :)

On Monday night, Cory stayed up late. I couldn't, because I had to get up on Tuesday morning.
On Tuesday night, Cory stayed up late. I couldn't, because I had to get up on Wednesday morning.

Etc, etc, etc.

Now I can stay up late. So what does he do? He falls asleep early. I'm not even that tired yet. So I'm going to sit here and type and hope I get tired soon. I hope Trout gets tired before me, because she's really being annoying, jumping up on the desk and trying to attack my pant legs and stuff. She got me again when I wasn't wearing pants at the computer and she tried to jump up on me. Ow.

I hear Cory breathing really heavy in there. Oh, and now he's snoring. I'm almost glad I'm not trying to sleep. :)

This week went by really fast. I'm excited to "move in" to my new cube on Monday. I hope I can keep it! Maybe I should take a picture of Cory and I and put it in there and make Lisa think I need a cube to put pictures in. It sounds really funny that I'm all excited to be in a cube, but after having worked in a place where everybody in the entire company (all 400 in that building) has a cube but me since I got there in October, it's nice to finally feel like I belong there.
