It's a beautiful morning. It's just starting to get light - the sky is purple just above the apartment buildings, then almost whitish-beige, then blue. The trees are swaying in the wind that I hoped would wake me up in the night. They didn't, even though we left the window open.

The only thing that would make me happier right now is some food. Hurry up, eggs.
