Yesterday I started on my hairpin lace cardi-wrap. It's actually working up pretty quickly. I'm having to make myself stop counting each stitch and just measure the completed strip instead.
Posters for the Fall Festival are up downtown now. (Aren't they hideous?) Cory and I went to Starbucks to work on a crossword puzzle and relax a bit. I looked into the requirements to get a booth at it and it's kind of expensive. If they accepted my application, I'd have to pay $95 for a space, buy a tent thingy and a couple of tables and stands, and STILL pay 15% of all my sales. If I knew sales were going to be good enough that I wouldn't lose money, I'd try for it; but I think I'm going to do a Christmas bazaar or two first.
