Weekends are so nice. Ahhh.

Saturday morning we woke up to sunshine and I took Cory to work so he could finish up a few things and then I went on to our old apartment and did an extremely half-assed cleanup. The place is now empty and vacuumed and most everything is scrubbed. There were a TON of spiderwebs in there, mostly back behind where furniture was up against the wall. Yuck.

Then we ran a couple of errands and had lunch and took showers and headed up to Keizer, where a couple of friends of ours live. We had dinner with them and went on a walk through the Keizer parade of lights, which was fun. I have this thing about being incredibly anal when it comes to Christmas lights, so I had a lot to say. All in good fun, though, of course. Then we went back to their apartment and opened gifts (they gave us an ornament and we got them some flannel baby blankets and the book Goodnight Moon) and chatted, and we got home at 11.

And now we're watching football and doing small things here and there around the house. I'm liking this not-getting-out-of-my-pajamas thing.
